First Kids Academy is the five day a week preschool program at FBC Pittsburg. The purpose of First Kids Academy is to provide a safe, Christian learning environment for preschoolers.  Our program is designed to help children grow spiritually through daily bible lessons, prayer and memory verses.  We also offer a strong educational curriculum to help prepare children for school.  At First Kids Academy, students will be engaged in learning time, centers, small group instruction, music, physical activity, Bible time and free play.  We also have special events, parties and programs throughout the year.  The staff at First Kids Academy are background checked, highly trained and are CPR and first aid certified.

We accept children from the ages of 6 weeks to Pre-Kindergarten.  We meet Monday-Friday and follow the school calendar.  School will start in August and end in May.  We will observe all PISD school closings and holidays but we will be open on teacher workdays and inservice.  Our school day is from 8:00am to 3:30pm with extended hours available from 7:15am to 4:30pm.  We offer a two day option (Tues/Thurs), a three day option (Mon/Wed/Fri), and a five day option.
